Additional info
Dunedin is the second-largest city in the South Island of New Zealand, and the principal city of the Otago region. Its name comes from Dùn Èideann, the Scottish Gaelic name for Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland. The city has a rich Māori, Scottish, and Chinese heritage.
State Highway 1 is the longest and most significant road in the New Zealand road network, running the length of both main islands. It appears on road maps as SH 1 and on road signs as a white number 1 on a red shield, but it has the official designations SH 1N in the North Island, SH 1S in the South Island.

Camera on the website

Is it worth to install a live camera on your website such as New Zealand webcam?

Installing a live camera on your website is a brilliant way to advertise your business. It doesn't matter whether it is a website of a seaside resort, an area services, a website of a guesthouse or a chair lift, or even a blog dedicated to tourism. A live camera view will definitely give a positive impact on the website traffic. Moreover, the scene from the live camera, such as New Zealand:

  • complements the content on the website and facilitates getting the message;
  • attracts users from various locations and increases the chances of finding you on the Internet;
  • keeps potential clients on the site;
  • strengthens the trust of internet users within the observed place and adds to its reputation;
  • live camera supports the promotional activities of tourism and hospitality businesses - a live camera will be an excellent extension to the website for a facility for rental, ski resort, swimming pool, museum, zoo park, organic garden and many additional interesting facilities;
  • allows to check in real time important information for travellers, such as weather, parking situation or traffic in a given city;
  • helps in gaining backlinks - links leading to your website through other portals, which translates into more effective building of the position within Google;
  • may have educational value if you plan to show various types of natural attractions, for example homes of precious bird species, breeding centers, marine life, parks, etc.

You can shoot whatever you want. You're basically limited only from your own will and... General Data Protection Regulations. Without much effort you can install a live camera on your website.

This live camera quality is outstanding but sometimes people notice that the camera does not work for a moment. However, this doesn't mean the service is poor but it is a matter of common sense that due to lack of power or harsh weather conditions, the camera may get down for just a little time. In this situation, I leave a remark to the team to ensure they are aware of that exact camera.
